10.BEEFSTEAK CLUB MALBEC – ARGENTINA (13.5%)

A deep and vibrant ruby red with an intense nose of smoky black fruits and dark chocolate, coupled with a hint of spice, all courtesy of the grapes that are grown on the higher ground of Mendoza in the shadow of the Andes Mountains. If this wine could talk it would beg to be teamed with a rich juicy steak.

11.SAN MILLAN CRIANZA RIOJA – SPAIN (13.5%)

Made from the Tempranillo grape, this complex and powerful Crianza certainly doesn’t mess around. It is aged for a year in American oak barrels and has aromas of ripe red fruits with a subtle floral bouquet and hints of cinnamon and clove. We don’t do paella so why not try it with a juicy Fillet Steak.

With subtle strawberry fruit and a refreshing dryness. This is a light and crisp Cinsault with a dash of Muscat. Pour a glass, relax and just drift away. Why not team it with prawns, scampi or Garlic salmon.

This delicate sparkling rose is made from the raboso grape and has delicate flavours of peach and red berries. Dry and soft this is in all but name a pink prosecco. It’s a shame we can’t just call it that!

2.CHEMIN DES DAMES DEMI SEC – FRANCE (11%)

Perfect if you like your white wine medium dry because that’s how sweet it is! A fresh aromatic bouquet followed by honeydew melon fruit and an attractive sweetness, with a good balance of acidity. Ideally suited to the smoked gammon or Cajun chicken.

Produced by the largest family-owned winery in Chile. Still managed today by the founder and his three children, a real family affair. Citrusy on the nose, with fresh lime and lemon, followed by a hint of pineapple and mouth watering acidity. The perfect partner for seafood.

5.FIVE FOOT TRACK CHARDONNAY – AUSTRALIA (13%)

Not for you ABC people out there (anything but chardonnay) Pale, straw yellow, rich and nutty with underlying notes of vanilla, ripe pineapple and mango on the palate. Perfectly suited to chicken and fish.

6.BANTRY BAY CHENIN BLANC – SOUTH AFRICA (12%)

An aromatic wine produced on the Western Cape from this wonderful world renowned French grape variety. Hints of tropical and citrus fruit on the nose and palate. A soft, fresh fruity wine that goes perfectly with grilled seafood, try with the char grilled Cajun tuna.

7.MICHEL SERVIN GRENACHE CARIGNAN – FRANCE (12%)

A dark plummy red that blends the soft and jammy raspberry fruit of ripe Grenache with the firming influence of Carignan's blackberry flavour. It takes two relatively unknown grape varieties to produce something this inviting, the perfect accompaniment to any steak.

A lovely dark Merlot from Chile’s Central valley. Aromas of ripe plums and strawberries, with soft mature tannins. We think it’s a great all-round food wine but probably at its best with a rich meaty lasagne.
