A taste of history

The food is what the Soulville is all about.  All steaks are prime British beef, and everything else, from the Buffalo wings and battered Creole chicken to the baby back ribs and Cajun tuna steak have a more distinctly American feel. Regardless of origin, absolutely everything on the menu is prepared and cooked in house to Soulville’s own unique recipes

Family run "Soul & Motown" themed restaurant

The vibrant hum of a cosy bar, the sizzle of fresh food on a smokin' chargrill and the unmistakable crackle and hiss of chunky black vinyl spinning on an original vintage jukebox. You've just entered the Soulville Steakhouse.......Sizzling steaks and classic dishes from around the culinary globe....all served to a soundtrack of classic Soul & Motown.

From the walls, Diana, Otis, James, Dusty and a seemingly endless gallery of the greatest Soul music artists from every era, look down as you tailor the evening to your own personal taste. You choose the food, you choose the wine, you even choose the music from our ever changing selection of timeless Soul classics on the free-play original 1960s Wurlitzer jukebox.

So much more than just a Steakhouse

We are proud to be part of The Elite Building, originally "The Elite Picture Theatre" which opened it's doors to Nottingham almost a hundred years ago on 22nd August 1921 with Mary Pickford in Pollyanna. The first "talkie" to be shown in Nottingham was also played at the Elite.

All of the theatre’s fantastic ornate plasterwork is still hidden behind the walls of The Soulville.
